Alright, I'll shoot at this one. I work a lot at a very stressful job and nothing against my wife but I really hate being bothered at work with anything that is not immediately important. No energy after total hysterectomy?

Hi, I had a total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I have returned to work already ( as per doctors orders ) because i am a secretary, all i do i answer phones. But i have already stopped taking my pain meds because they tear my stomach to pieces. I am 27, and had severe endometriosis. But, since i stopped taking the pain meds i have no energy at all!! after finally quitting my job, ive applied for many new ones, and never recieved a reply. Recently, I got an email from Big W, inviting me for a group estment interview wih a scheduled date. I was so excited, and really wanted the job. I checked my diary, and realised the date the interview was set for, was while i was going to be away on school camp. I have already paid for the camp, so not going isnt an option. Ive tried to contact Big W, although the address from which they sent the email is unattended, and I cant call the store to which I got the interview, because it is new and hasnt opened yet. Harrment and Stress in the workplace? What are my options?

I've been working for a very large government contractor on a military installation for almost four years now. I work in an office environment with many conflicting personalities. The problem with this is that when problems arise, there really is nowhere to go. Nepotism runs very deep in this company. I would say that about 20% of the 300 employees are related in some way. And most importantly, almost all of the upper dozen management are related! Although we are all in the Teamster's Union, the union will not give it there all because I've been told, "Don't rock the boat" as well as, "You know how things work around here, with this family". So, there's my problem. I work in a very hostile environment and I think my number is coming up. I get written up for any little BS thing. They go through my paperwork and files looking for dirt anytime I may call in sick or take a personal day. The last time I was being written up, I did not sign the paperwork because the union guy sitting in with us called BS, and finally spoke up and said, this is obviously a witchhunt. The boss threw out the paperwork and told me to leave. I got out of this last one, but now she is smokin' mad! And I know she's out for revenge. Anyway, I am really stressed out when I go to work, I work in a hostile environment where I am always looking over my shoulder. I have nowhere to run to because all of the management are brothers, sisters, spouses, cousins, it's ridiculous! I am going leave this job because I can't work in these conditions, but at the same time I feel like they got the best of me and that "they" won by running out yet another good employee!!

the cello sounds prettier because it sounds deeper. The great disadvantage of it is that it is a huge instrument and it is very impractical to carry around. The violin might not sound as pretty by itself but with violas and cellos it sounds beautiful and it is easier to carry than a cello. What about a viola?

Does anyone have any good info on dealing with chronic insomnia?

I have dealt with Chronic Insomnia my whole life. Since I was a child I remember having problems with it and as I get older it seems to get worse. I have went to a doctor and they prescribe me pills that work for a very short period of time and the constant changing has me feeling ill. I feel like my insomnia ruins my life by constantly making me feel drained. I have tried over the counter stuff which doesn't seem to do much. Plus no matter what pill it is, in which I have tried dozens make me feel drowsy in the morning. I am just sick of pills. But has anybody tried a pill that did the trick? I have also tried going pill free and relaxation techniques, but it rarely works. Most of all, do you know any technique that will help? I am willing to do anything, because I am so sick of feeling like this and not getting sleep. I feel miserable enough, so mature answers only and no jokes please!

I have this cello actually and is it a very good beginner cello, for your first few years. The one I got was very difficult to tune, but they may have been just mine or it may be them all. Normally you wouldn't tune at first and with practice you learn how to tune it easily. I would recommend it.

Windows Media Player making popping noise

My WMP makes muffled popping noises while playing audio. I've looked through all troubleshooting pages but none of them match the problem I'm having. I've found remedies for clicking noises, scratching noises and no audio at all but nothing describes the muffled popping noise that I get. The noise is constant and there are about 2 pops per second. I did the sound test and all that stuff but it didn't do anything. Is there a comprehensive troubleshooting page that I can go to that can maybe provide samples of the noises I'm getting so I can match it and find the correct solution?

Long coughs.... Cannot stop.?

I have this cough that's lasted for about 3 weeks now. I have no fever just phlegm (lots of it). Recently I started to have a running nose, but not until 3 days ago. And when i breath in it is fine, but sometimes tickles (thus causing me to cough) and unless i breath in all the way with my diaphragm filled, then it sounds a little like a soft soft whistle (only at the very last moment in the inhalation). When i breath out it is completely fine, but just the very last moment in the exhalation it creates this nasty gasping sound.... I have no clue whether it is a viral or bacterial infection. I'm afraid the doctor would give me the wrong diagnosis and end up taking antibiotics for a virus. I have never had this happened to me before, im actually kinda scared (the sound made when full inhalation and exhalation ...). Please let me know if you have some guidance.

My TV is stuck on Channel 3.?

My rabbit seems to be wheezing?

I was raised in a Fundamentalist Christian household. When I was young, around 5 or 6, I never really thought about gender or gender identity. I was a girl. That's all I knew, and all I thought. I had moments where I would try on my brother's clothes or put on a hat or wrap my hair up, and I would study myself, never really sure of what I was doing. I would follow the other boys around, and consequently was teased by people who thought I liked them. At 10 years old, I was devastated that I finally got my menstrual period-- the last thing to prove to me that I was in fact a girl. In my early years, if I did maintain a trans gender identity, it was very subtle, and probably so subtle I couldn't even grasp it. I was raised to think I was a girl, and so I did- at least partially. I managed to find out about FTMs from a Degri episode about Adam. And so I began to wear male clothing, ace bandages, etc. I am still not sure if I am just trying to emulate this or if I managed to identify something I had been dealing with for a while. I am a teenager now, and the thing that sucks is that this came up while I was a teen- the same time I found that there are people who live their lives as members of the "opposite" . I don't know if this change came from hormones, meaning it would be a phase, or, information, meaning I was ed all along, but I didn't know how to identify it. Can someone give me an answer? Tax Rebate checks!?

Where are the tax rebate checks coming from? Is it the State you live in? I just got a check for $752.00. Well, I am married and I know that married couples get up to $1200.00, that's up to $600.00 a piece. My husband paid in enough in tax because he gets paid alot at work and we filed jointly, well, they are suppose to send the checks out in July based on the last 2 digits of his social security number, since he is the primary tax payer on our checks. Help self confidence with for a girl.?

How do I control my 14 mth old at dinner.?

Every time we go to dinner at a restaurant my daughter is horrible, she screams and always wants down, she points at everything and make her noise uh uh uh. It has gotten to the point we just want to leave or we take turns eating while the other is outside, so we are not able to enjoy this time. So in theory, in a particularly severe winter with extremely low temperatures a lake may freeze completely solid for a period of time but when the thaw comes some fish may "live again" so to speak. I ask this because some lakes or lochs as I call them (I live in Scotland) are very shallow with alot of trout in them. In the winter these shallow lakes must freeze completely solid due to the very low temperatures we get, I often wonder how the fish can survive this.When spring comes there is always plenty of trout still there when I go fishing, how is this possible?

OK, I was hospitalized with a mystery illness about a year and a half ago. What happened, truthfully, was that I was having constant, terrible diarrhea over the course of about 12 hours, and I collapsed from dehydration. I was unconscious when the paramedics came and had kidney failure. It looked like I was going to die. My boyfriend at the time and his parents were total @ssholes to me when they first saw me in the hospital. First, he accused me of attempting suicide because my landlord claimed she heard "yelling" coming from my apartment. Then, his mother accused me of having AIDS. As I was lying there presumably dying, all him and his parents could talk about was how expensive the hospitalization was going to be because I didn't have health insurance. I stabilized and was taken to ICU as a precaution, but him and his parents continued to act like total jerks to me. They came into my hospital room telling jokes about how I defecated on the floor. I tried to put a positive spin on things, saying the hospitalization was nice, almost like visiting a spa, to which he replied, "It won't be nice when you get the bill." When I was discharged after a 4 day stay, he drove me home, and was again insulting me: "Now do you believe us when we say you need health insurance?!", "You were acting funny when we found you in your apartment" (alluding to me defecating on the floor), "Is having a cat too much responsibility for you?" (he thinks I got sick because I didn't keep the litter box clean). Afterwards, he stopped talking to me altogether, but then several weeks later, he sent me an email acting like nothing happened and he wanted to be friends again, but I completely ignored him. Was their actions towards me unforgiveable? I honestly hate these people more than anyone I've ever met in my life. What would possess people to be so nasty to me when I had almost died?

Random mild bruising on my face?

Just a week ago, I noticed a small dark bruise under my chin. I'm almost certain I didn't bump into anything and I'm definitely not an easy bruiser. Never have been. Anyways, that bruise disappeared within a week. Now I just noticed a second bruise on the left side of my lower cheek. Definitely didn't bump into anything and it looks the same as the first one. My budgie laid an egg! Help please!?

After I got home from school today, I went in my room to say hi to my birds and I noticed there was a egg in one of the food bowls. I've noticed Violet (the budgie who laid the egg) has been in the food bowl lately just laying in there. I thought she was just digging out the hulls, but she used it as her nesting place. I removed the egg and put it into a nest box. I put Violet and the nest box in a separate cage because all the other budgies were bugging her, all the females were extremely curious and all the males wanted to mate her. I checked the egg and it looks transparent, its unfertilized right? But I heard that removing eggs makes a female want to lay more and the thing I fear most is her getting egg binding. I read in a book when females lay more eggs it makes their life span shorter? I love my birds very much and I'm worried. The bird that mated with her is her SON! Will that effect the chicks? But too tell you the truth I don't really want to go through having more baby budgies again. Violet had her first clutch in August 2006, and only 2/4 chicks survived (the dad accidentally cracked one of the eggs, one was infertile, one starved because Violet didn't feed it, and somehow one broke its leg and died), I cried for both of the baby birds and the cracked egg and missed school. I'm in high school now and I can't really afford to miss any more days of school. What should I do? I have Violet and her son (which is now her mate) in a separate cage with the nest box with the egg in it.
