What legalities do I need to be aware of for fansite contests?

I run a moderately popular game fansite, and I want to hold contests with some decent prizes. Things like free copies of games. I don't want to run into any legal problems, if there are any. This is just a friendly contest, nothing that requires payment to enter. Where can I get info on this?
