Can you listen to music while doing other things with the LG Imprint?

Basically what the title says. I've had the samsung freeform for a while and I can't STAND it when my music stops because I get a text and I have to get my phone out of my bag or pocket and close the text or reply in order to resume the song. So, if anyone has the LG imprint (LGMN240) or is able to find out somehow, I'd appreciate it. I've had no luck yet.
