Sensibly, you've put your careers first. Unfortunately, with jobs and careers people change. They can't help it. You and him will not be the same people you are now. You might find out you can't live with these changes, or might find out you can. Don't commit to each other that strongly unless you've been through these struggles first, then you'll truly know you can still love them even with the changes taking place.
