Why does he keep asking me if i like him?

He chose his girlfriend over me, said that she caught him when he was falling and that he didnt want to be sad and hurt when i was with this other dude who i dont even talk to anymore and hadnt at the moment cuz apparently he had his own shady actions...yet he is always asking me on a consistant basis if i still like him, and he got soo caught up in that i deleted him from my fb friends for my benefit..i couldnt be feeling bad and stressing over his love statuses..he even was like, ill stop? Wtf? Like if you care so much about her then....why are you so caught up in me. He insist to hear my problems, has many names for me(i do believe pooh bear is my favorite) and he is just so...lovely! And i dont return any of it for my own good and today was the first time i told him it didnt matter what i thought of him, and he sorta got mad. ??? Uhm ?
