Homecoming hair? Problem between me and boyfriend.?

It's my boyfriend's last homecoming ever. And our school's homecoming is like prom to us because we're a small christian school. But he says he's not gonna like my hair unless it's down and straight. Not a great hairstyle for homecoming and I don't wanna put up with his pissy attitude all homecoming night. I tried to compromise and like put half up in a cute like criss-cross thing. and really straight. What the heck does he want from me. What should I do.
