How do I control my 14 mth old at dinner.?

Every time we go to dinner at a restaurant my daughter is horrible, she screams and always wants down, she points at everything and make her noise uh uh uh. It has gotten to the point we just want to leave or we take turns eating while the other is outside, so we are not able to enjoy this time. We are told by friends we are doing ok, but as soon as she is done eating the battle begins.
