Should they reboot the x-men series and keep so actors?

I like the X-Men movies I think I they were approach in a more realistic sense like no real suits and random things a side from mutants but that's the point of the movie. The thing that bother me was the third film even though it's kind of entertaining they butcher one of the all time great stories the Phoenix Saga and killed of 3 main characters and depowered many! I don't like the idea of these origin movies but are still fun to watch i just wish the make an X4 remake of part 3 or a straight up reboot with better stories and keep up with new and old comics and treat the characters with respect specially cyclops because im tired of dumb wanna be fans talking mess in favor of wolverine!!
